Today we are joined by the versatile and all round good guy, Kelvin Fletcher!
Known by many, of course, as Andy Sugden on ITV’s Emmerdale, a role he played for two decades - with subsequent success leading to him becoming winner of Strictly Come Dancing in 2019.
When Kevin and his wife Liz Fletcher’s Hollywood acting dream fail apart before it even started because of the Pandemic, it opened up doors closer to home… and home became a farm. In recent years, he has embraced this very different way of life, swapping acting and drama for the rhythms of the countryside as a farmer in the Peak District - where he lives with his wife and four children and an ever growing list of animals!
This journey from actor to farmer has captured the imagination of many, and through his family’s farming adventures over the last 4 years with TV show ‘Fletchers Family Farm’, has developed an even deeper connection to rural life and its communities - especially his beloved sheep!
